I am here tonight thinking oh my gosh, tomorrow I am another year older! That is so amazing! Let’s reflect for a moment. How many people can sit back and say “I have everything I wanted”? I am doing what I always wanted to do, I have an amazing family and a super, wonderful extended family. I have worked hard to get where I am thus far and have only touched the tip of the iceberg. I do know that the way my schedule was in 2009, I did not get many chances to write. i know many of you are waiting for the new CD, and I promise you, it’s coming. We can’t rush these types of things. For those of you who attend my shows, you know a lot of the new ones already. i am wondering if i will top the European market again with the next one like I did with Honeysweet. What would be even better is to have more recognition in the US. As long as I am living the dream, I can’t complain. Heck, watching my son bust moves like he is the next Michael Jackson and having my daughter ask me how I like the three songs she has written this week is pretty awesome. I just can’t wait to see what is in store for me this year. There are shows already lined up that i can’t wait to be part of!!!
