Hello friends! Well this past week was a ton of fun! I played three shows at the Clackamas County fair, where I got to see some old friends I have not seen in a while. That was great! We had a wonderful crowd, even with the Rodeo going on, AND Toby Keith playing in Clark County. I was really pleased.
I also played down in Southern Oregon at the Henry Estates Winery for their 16th annual “Henry goes Wine” event. That was so much fun! There was amazing food there, wonderful hawaiian dancers before us, and great audience participation. It was hotter than a who done it, like 98 degrees, but it was still a ton of fun. I ended up with so many encores, it felt really good. Thank you to all of you who were there!
Well I have only three more shows until I go on maternity leave. I can’t believe how fast time has flown by! Summer is almost over, I have a newborn on the way….It’s just amazing.
This Saturday, the band and I will be heading east to Moro, Oregon for the Sherman County Fair Barn Dance. We will be playing and dancing all night long, starting at 7:30pm.
Next Tuesday, August 30th, I will be part of a wonderful experience. I will be only one of four performers performing for the “Oregon National Guard Celebrate Freedom! A tribute to veterans at the Oregon Statre Fair. The band will be the very talented Denanda band and the other three performers will be Kimberly Hall, Bill White, and Thom Effinger. We will be performing two shows, one at 2:30 and one at 6pm. I would love to see you there!
Lastly, my final show will be at the ever famous Sublimity Harvest Fest Sept 9th. This festival which mainly revolves around the tractor pull is a huge event and will be a ton of fun! We will be performing from 9-1am, so be ready to have a good time!
