When my co-writer Diann Hammer came to me with this song title, it was the first crack at us writing as a team. We knew each other from previous songwriting circles and writing camps, but never had the chance to write together.
When we started to dive into this song, we had the notion of making it for a male vocalist and we would just pitch it. Then after reviewing it, we thought it might sound better as a female and I was starting to get the bug as myself being the female artist for this song. The more we worked on it, the more we came to the conclusion that it was best suited as a duet. A fun, flirty duet. Diann and I thought of the best guy who could nail this song, and it was Clayton Jones
I hope you enjoy the song as much as we did creating it. Oh and by the way, I think Diann and I "CLICK" as a writing team!
